There will be NO CONFESSIONS before or after the liturgies Wednesday December 6th. The liturgies tomorrow, Wed. 12/06 will be Liturgies of the Word with Holy Communion. We will return to our normal schedule Thursday. Don't forget, Friday is a Hold Day of Obligation as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary (three liturgies that day; 11:40am, 12:15pm and 5:30pm with music).
The chapel will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving holidays on Thursday November 23 and Friday November 24. We will reopen at 2 p.m. on Saturday November 25. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
St. Jude Chapel will be closed Friday November 10th in observance of Veteran's Day. We will reopen Saturday at 2 p.m. for our regular schedule (3 p.m. confessions; 4 p.m. Vigil Mass). Please note that the Veterans Day Parade will be on Thursday November 9th. Please make plans to expect delays getting to our parking garage and to our chapel as they will have barricades up and streets closed. We will be open from 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday November 1st in celebration of All Saints Day. In addition to our regular schedule - confessions 11 a.m., daily Masses at 11:40 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., we will add another Mass at 5:30 p.m. with music. Join us!
We will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today so that all Christians, all of our religious brothers and sisters, all who believe in good orderly direction can spend a moment lifting up their prayers, wishes, good will for the winning side to prevail - that of peace.
The Ordinaries of the Holy Land under the service of Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Pierbattista Card. Pizzaballa has asked us to join the world in a day of fasting, abstinence and prayer for peace in the Holy Land. We will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 10 a.m. to 1 1 a.m.
You are invited to participate in All Souls Day Remembrance this year at St. Jude Chapel. It is custom for us to pray for our loved-ones who have died especially on this day. Be sure to fill out an envelope and consider donating. Completed envelopes will be placed on the altar now through November 1st so we an join in praying for all our faithful departed as a community.
We will have blessings for the animals after each of our daily Mass on Wednesday October 4th on the sidewalk. Please be sure to have your animals on leashes or in crates. The blessing will not take long so please make plans to be here as soon as the 11:40 a.m. and the 12:15 p.m. Masses are finished.
